In the next scene of this film, freely available on the internet archive, our young coeds encounter two disoriented Civil War soldiers who’ve wound up in 1960′s rural America because of a malfunctioning time machine. Gunplay ensues. The boy winds up in hospital and the girl vanishes. Sounds like the makings for a bad sci-fi movie, doesn’t it?
Fortunately, every once in a while something is so bad that it doubles back on itself and approaches The Monumental. Such might be the case with this mystery movie.
And best of all, it provides at least a few scenes that deserve to be preserved as animated GIFts.
Do you recognize the film? Do you think you can venture a guess – informed or otherwise – before the next GIFt comes to this very blog?
As mentioned on the latest scottlo calling, all future commenters will be registered for the upcoming drawing of a bag of nougat sweets to be mailed before the end of the year.
Love to see you getting your animated GIF back on. I think I am ready to go for a tear here to. I have one from Cotton Comes to harlem that is going to be my magnum opus yet! Big fan!
Can’t wait to see the work, Jim. Not familiar with the film though. Is that Cotton as in Mather or in Gin? Guess I’ll just have to wait and see. Rock On!
